Great Instructor & Great Class

Open letter of praise for Patricia Stoneking and her company, Target Master Shooting Academy.

I just took Patricia's (or Patti's - but not Pat) class this past weekend (1/9/10) at the Bullet Hole in Overland Park, Kansas. The class was informative, Patti is well trained, knowledgable of current laws as well as pending legislation and her class was well organized and managed.

My guess is that many "other instructors" may be able to teach you what you need to know and pass the test, but I have learned that it is understanding the do's and the don'ts of Kansas law that will/may get you in trouble and where to go to further educate yourself. As well, Patricia offers other classes for those individuals who need further gun handling or instruction in order to better themselves further.

As well, all shooting is done indoors at the end of the class/instruction time... so rain, snow and cold weather is not a factor... as with other instructors who may have you do the shooting part of the class outside or at an off-site location.

The class ran from 9:00am to 6:00pm and I believe that it prepared me for my CCW/CCH permit... as well as key weblinks and information to further gain information on the responsibility of carrying a concealed weapon.

If anyone has any questions, let me know... but I highly recommend "Target Master Shooting Academy" and Patricia Stoneking if your looking for a good CCW class or any of the other classes she and her "team" teach.

Thank you Patricia... the last name of my screen name is my real last name... so you'll figure out who I was from your class on 1/9/10 (front row-bald guy).

I submitted my paperwork to the Johnson County Sherrif's office on Monday, 1/11 as well as to Florida for my non-resident CCW permit... so hopefully in 60 days or so I will be legal to carry concealed.

Patricia is a PROFESSIONALin all respects. Mr. Cook, if you don't know she was NRA Woman of the Year, she is currently President of the Kansas State Rifle Association, and she is one hellava nice lady.

Patti does guns 24/7, she does politics 24/7

If you are not a KSRA member yet, join, it is money well spent.
